Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that meet business user needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into effective BI solutions.
- Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud services) and design data models to support business needs.
- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and implement interactive visualizations to allow users to explore data and generate insights easily.
- Work with data sources like SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based data services (Azure, AWS) for seamless integration.
- Create and manage complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations for custom metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure optimized data pipelines for reporting and analytics.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Stay up to date with Power BI features and recommend best practices and new approaches to enhance BI solutions.
- Provide training and support to business users on how to effectively use Power BI for self-service analytics.
- Ensure data security and governance policies are followed, including managing user access and permissions.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience Requirements:
3-8 years of experience in Power BI development.
Technical Skills:
